Summer 10

Hey friends,

Holy smokes, what happened? One thing I’ve learned from the internet, blogging is hard. To make it up to you guys, here’s some new Spoilers.

Nineteenth Nervous Breakdance

Spoilers Chapter 19

This one is called “Oh…” and, while you can check it out here, the effect really works best when seen on the site (but that goes without saying, right?)

Other Stuff

So originally, like two weeks ago when I started writing this post, I was going to do a follow up to that last post about when I went to Virginia. This time I going to tell you a little bit about when I went to Boston, about how I got to tour the historic city, learning important bits of information such as where Paul Revere stood, that American graves are much more popular than British ones, and that pigeons descended from dinosaurs. About how artista fantastica Jess Wheelock was my wonderful host (sorry, she got me reading this great book full of Spanish). About how we got a special, all-access show of Boston rock band Sweet Irony in their cozy practice space (full disclosure: drummer Alex Maht’n is my main mayonaise).

Sweet Irony rocking out

I had an awesome time. But then other things started happening. Zuda shut itself down, leaving many deserving artists (such as the Niki Smith you know and love). Everbody hates Lebron James now. Local hero Harvey Pekar passes away all of a sudden. Personal things out of a Rosanne Cash song.

Coming up we should have more Spoilers in not too long a time, I should have some exciting news that you guys will all want to get a piece of, and in the meantime, I’m updating the Art of Comics site more than ever, so check that out if you haven’t before. The summer session is over halfway complete and I think we’ have some great comics to show at the end of it.

Take care, y’all!
